When asked what her favorite thing about racing is, her comment was "the victory dinner." That's when Matt takes everyone out to dinner on Sunday nights--- as a thank you for the team's support and to buy brownie-points with the wife for the next week's race! It's a give and take thing!

PIT CREW PROFILE
"Moose" is Matt's four-year old son, Maximus. Moose is currently attending preschool at the Mount Vernon Community School in Mt. Vernon. He can not wait until school is over so that he can just play outside everyday and do nothing else. Moose likes to wake up no later than 6:30 a.m. every morning. He was in wrestling and soccer this year. When asked what his favorite part about racing is, his comment was "playing in the sandbox, also."
"Thias" is Matt's two-year old son Matthias. Thias is
too young to go to school so goes to Val's, the sitter's house during the weekday's. He idolizes his older brother Moose, and enjoys playing with box cars and tractors. He is fearless and will rise to any challenge. Go ahead, dare him!
"Dad" is... well, you figure it out. Ken has been farming ground in Lisbon, Iowa, for over 45-years. It is because of Ken's interest in classic cars that
Matt was introduced to hot rods. Ken currently owns a small collection of Chevy's and over the winter, bought a go-cart for the grandkids to tool around in. If Ken's not in the field, you can count on seeing him right beside his son at the track.
